Why
You Need A Black Psychologist or Therapist:
Black
psychologists are mental health experts.
Not only can they speak on depression,
violence and suicide, but they can
also speak on educational disabilities
and special education services. They
are well-versed on bi-polar disorder,
schizophrenia, multiple personality
disorder, and many other mental illnesses.
Black
psychologists can even speak on what
is now referred to as post-traumatic
slavery syndrome. Many of our psychologists
are activists in their own communities,
and some are even educators at local
high schools and colleges.
