Featured in Essence and Black Enterprise Magazines, Anita Davis-DeFoe, Ph.D., is a certified career and workforce development consultant, motivational teacher, knowledge facilitator, youth development and family strengthening expert, as well as an organization, quality and leadership development specialist. Anita is a social entrepreneur and life strategist with over 20 years of multi-faceted experience motivating, coaching, inspiring and transforming people and organizations all around the globe. She has crafted and implemented myriad programs aimed at assisting organizations and people of all ages to discover their inner greatness and unique strengths.

Anita is also the President of the Afia Planning and Development Corporation. Afia is comprised of three divisions: The DeFoe Group, Flight of the Spirit, and the Afia Press. She provides training, quality management, strategic planning, project development and management services to organizations around the globe. Anita is a change and leadership development expert who provides technical assistance to organizations in the areas of strategic visioning; team building; process and change management; fund development, as well as the diagnosis and resolution of operational, service delivery and programmatic challenges.
