Biography:
James Aaron Williams, Ph.D., is the founder and driving force behind J. A. Williams Associates, LLC, a consulting firm specializing in Police Policies, Practices and Procedures nationwide. Dr. Williams provides case consulting and expert trial and deposition testimony to law firms in both plaintiff and defense litigation matters.

Dr. Williams is an Associate Member of the American Bar Association and serves on the ABA Criminal Justice Committee. He is an Adjunct Professor for Criminal Justice Studies at Rowan University, Glassboro, New Jersey. He received his Doctorate Degree in Criminal Justice in 1995. He received his certification as a Forensic Examiner from the American College of Forensic Examiners. Dr. Williams has been admitted in the federal and state courts as a Police Expert in the specialties of Police Policies, Practices and Procedures and has met both the federal and state court standards of the stringent Daubert Challenges.

James A. Williams retired from the United States Department of Justice Drug Enforcement Administration as Deputy Associate Special Agent in Charge and Chief of Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces on worldwide assignments. His career management positions included Chief of Divisional Intelligence, Chief of International Law Enforcement Training, Chief of International Mobile Units, Senior Drug Enforcement Policy Advisor to the Central Intelligence Agency and United States Country Attaché on Diplomatic assignment to the Caribbean. He has directed investigations and training programs in countries internationally, and has held the highest US Government security clearances including Crypto with the US Department of State and Top Secret with the US Department of Justice.
