Biography:
JC Lamkin is an expert, dynamic and motivational Black public speaker in the areas of technology and computers. Just about everyone who attends her public speaking engagements finds some sort of reward. Even computer novices find her tech discussions to be compelling, easy to understand and very applicable to their lives. As a highly skilled and masterful African American public speaker, technology expert and guru, JC speaks to the specific needs of her audience. As an African American woman in the technology field, Ms. Lamkin brings a more comprehensive world view and understanding of the tech industry. JC continues to be leader in the field of technology and computers.
Black organizations, multicultural organizations and multi-national organizations have agreed that Ms. Lamkin as one of the most highly regarded public speakers of her time. Her speaking engagements and audiences have included schools, small to mid-size corporations, communities, and civic organizations. Ms. Lamkin’s most recent speaking engagements include: the PA Governor's Advisory Commission on African American Affairs Business Exchange at the Hilton Hotel in Philadelphia, PA, the Montgomery County Woman-Owned Business Network, National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Philadelphia Chapter.
As Certified Novell Administrator and Certified Project Manager, JC brings a mastery of innovation in understanding computers and technology. As a business owner and award winning Philadelphia area radio talk show host her work has included technology and project management solutions for small businesses, organizations and communities.
Her public speaking career began when she attended the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science. She has also continued her education at the Villanova University for project management and the Chubb Institute for Novell Network Engineering. J. C. has gained vast experience in public speaking for Healthcare and Information Systems Management. She also has demonstrated skills in negotiation and chairmanship of commercial and community service projects in working with the Urban League of Young Professionals. She utilizes her project management, analytical and creative thinking skills to identify the best solution to any problem confronting a project in which she may be involved.

As a public speaker and product manager, she has been directly responsible for assigned project revenue (upwards of 5M) and client satisfaction with the projects and deliverables for multiple teams. She is a knowledge leader in solution concept to execution and has demonstrated unique competency in translating business issues into customer solutions including opportunity identification, requirements development, software development management, delivery, support, and analysis.
Voted one of Philadelphia’s Most Influential Young Socialites, J. C. has previously served Toastmasters International (TM) as Vice President and finally, President of a Philadelphia area TM club.
J. C. serves as board member of the National Political Congress of Black Women and African American United Fund. JC has received numerous rewards for her work in the community including Volunteer of the Year award from the African American United Fund, recognition as a Community Leader by Cheyney University’s President, Wallace Arnold and recipient of the Business Innovation Award from the Women’s Opportunity Resource Center of Philadelphia.
J.C. has also served as a public speaking and visiting mentor of the “College for Kids” program at the University of Pennsylvania and the “HealthLink Program” at Cheyney University. As regular host of the WNWR 1540 AM tech/social change radio show “Technically Speaking Radio”, JC is changing the way people think about computers and technology. Her book, “Fabulous and Tech-filled” has increased computer users’ understanding of social networks, and online marketing.
