Biography:
From a small town in Texas known nationally for drugs, violence, and more recently, serial killings comes a young man with a very special story to tell. Marcus A. Parkers' book entitled The Product explains how he was able to escape the negatives surrounding his childhood and turn a negative situation into a positive.

Being born poor to a mother who was not only legally blind but also an albino, Parker had to deal with racism from blacks and whites. Growing up with a father who was an alcoholic to the revelation that the man who raised him was not his biological father, Marcus A. Parkers' story is motivating and encouraging readers young and old.

The message in The Product is that we are all products of our environment whether good or bad, but if we use the negative to propel us our success will be infinite. That theory holds true for the author who through much adversity was able to maintain a successful military and corporate career and walked away from a six figure income at the age of twenty-seven. Marcus explains that at that point in his life God stepped in and showed him that he had a much bigger purpose than just making money. He wrote the book and lost most of his earthly possessions while still speaking at schools to thousands of children who grew up like him. Parkers' message is to stay positive, stay focused and most of all never give up your dreams.

Once again, staying focused has paid off for Parker. His new Product kit (which includes the book and a free audio book) has been a Dallas Morning News best-seller for the last three months. The popularity of the book landed Parker a distribution deal to put The Product in major chains like Wal-mart and Target in the near future.
