Biography:
As a graduate student at Howard University Quinn Conyers founded Speak2Society LLC, a motivational speaking company specializing in entrepreneurship, leadership and motivation for youth and young adults. As she developed her skills as communicator, more opportunities in the areas of TV hosting, speaking, business and teaching presented themselves.

As a result of her entrepreneurial spirit, BET host, speaker and commentator Jeff Johnson’s consulting firm Jeff’s Nation LLC recently invited Quinn to serve as the Coordinator for its new venture, the New Voices Speakers and Event Bureau (www.newvoicesspeak.com). Quinn will handle speaking engagements, promotion and publicity for dynamic presenters ages 18-35. The company also specializes in empowering events. Additionally, Quinn’s company Speak2Society will merge with Jeff’s Nation LLC. Speak2society will now serve as the development division of New Voices, focusing on speech coaching and development for speakers and celebrities.

When Quinn is not busy booking America’s top young speakers, she is working diligently on making the Quinn Conyers Show a reality. The show will focus on current events and entrepreneurship for young adults ages 17-34. The show will air on several public access stations in Baltimore and online at www.quinnconyers.com. Quinn currently is a host and reporter for Education Channel 77 in Baltimore. Additionally she was the former host of Engaging Youth Entrepreneurs (EYE) TV.

Balancing a busy schedule is nothing new to Quinn. She is an adjunct Public Speaking professor at Coppin State University in Baltimore. Quinn’s business, speaking and teaching accomplishments have earned her both local and national media attention.

In 2006 she was the Youth Leader of the Year of the New Light Leadership Coalition, Capital Speakers Club of Washington DC Scholarship Winner and named a 2006 Emerging Business Leader by Minority Business Development Agency. In 2007 she was named an Emerging Minority Business Leaders by the West Virginia High Technology Foundation. She also won a speaking competition in Los Angeles California where she was able to motivate and inspire audience for 2 rounds in 2 minutes or less. Quinn’s gift of gab has earned her awards and recognition in magazines, newspapers and news programs.

She has been featured in the Baltimore Times Minority Business Magazine, Young Money Magazine, The District Chronicles Newspaper and the Washington Informer and Fox 5 News in Washington DC. Additionally she has been featured in Black Enterprise and Essence Magazine.

Quinn Conyers has spoken at numerous conferences, colleges and youth organizations on the topic of youth entrepreneurship, motivation and inspiration. To name a few, she has spoken at The Collegiate Entrepreneurs Organization (CEO) conference, Frostburg State University, the Baltimore chapter of the National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship, Syracuse University, the Crispus Attucks Community Center and New Jerusalem Baptist Church in North Carolina.

Originally from Lancaster Pennsylvania, Quinn Conyers holds a B.A in Communication Studies with a minor in Spanish and M.A from Howard University in Mass Communication Media Studies with a specialization in Entrepreneurship.

Quinn’s ultimate goal is to use the media as a platform to empower, engage and inform. She hopes to have her own national talk show, speak professionally and be a positive role model for youth and young adults.
