Biography:
Sonya Walker, is the founder and CEO of Essance, Inc. a dynamic company that beautifies women and teenage girls from the inside and out.  She is a sought after speaker, a life coach, an author, and a woman full of purpose. She currently writes for online forums and magazines. Her unique writing abilities leaves her readers with a beautiful sense of awareness about themselves and the importance of loving yourself.

Essance was created to fulfill a growing need in helping women love themselves from the inside out. Essence means to help bring out the nature in which you were created. Essence was designed to build the image of women and teenage girls through the word of God.

Our purpose is to help them fulfill their God given destiny. To help women and teens see themselves the way God sees them. To build up their self-esteem and self-worth. To teach that there is beauty in wholeness and holiness.

Training is one of the premiere services offered by Essance. However, there is a lot to consider in a training program. Like many of the services offered, training must be considered holistically, (mind, body, soul, spirit).

We believe that one should be taught how to love themselves. Our goal through our training is to teach women and teenage girls how to apply what they have learned to their everyday life.

Our responsibility in our seminars and workshops is to make her one within herself. Realizing that you can be beautiful inside and out.

Essance was designed to help women and teens to build character, build healthy relationships, how to overcome depression, to embrace their uniqueness, and to learn how to love themselves from the inside out.

Prior to reinventing herself, Sonya was a hairstylist and makeup artist for 22 years.  Her years of experience has taught her that no matter how beautiful of an image you create, if you don't believe in yourself, then you will have beauty without substance. Sonya has worked with some of the top radio personalities, entertainers, and photographers.

Sonya created a baby doll cap sleeve t-shirt line called Beautifully Speaking, to teach women and teens the importance of positive confession.  To learn how to speak well of themselves.
