Biography:
As a professional speaker, author and Urban Development Expert, Tracy J. Brown has risen to national prominence by delivering a high energy empowering message which tells people how to socially and economically advance our urban communities and live up to their true values of greatness within Urban America. It is a message Tracy J. Brown has learned from his own PERSONAL and PROFESSIONAL life experiences.

Brought up with scarce resources, Brown regularly shares his message on how to rise from adversity to prosperity with audiences of local radio show and motivational sessions. He speaks with the authority of someone who has been down but managed to push him self up. Mr. Brown speaks to churches throughout the U.S on “Biblical Stewardship/ 21st Century Leadership in the Black Church: Taking Back the Urban Community and Community Empowerment.” In Mr. Brown’s other work, he tells of a National Plan for the Black Church to take back The Urban Community. He is the Financial Comptroller of a 1,000-member church in Portsmouth, Virginia and a devoted father and husband.

In 2004, Tracy developed a non-profit; Urban Awareness USA, a full-time Urban community consultant services. The company provides motivational training materials, workshops, and personal/professional development programs aimed at individuals, companies, and organizations.

Brown comments, "Our underserved communities are plagued with poverty by the design of a social economic system that I call 'Modern Day Pharaoh System'. As in the Old Testament, Pharaoh kept the Israelites in bondage. Today, the modern day Pharaoh system keeps those who lack understanding of the economic system in bondage. I believe the black church must free our people from (today’s) Pharaoh".

Biblical Stewardship in the Black Church - Today very few Christians understand the difference between God’s Economy vs. Man’s Economy, and as a result, many are unnecessarily living under emotional and financial stress. Our Stewardship revival program will assist your church members on giving as form of worship.

The Black Church’s Community Empowerment Plan: “A Solution to Urban America” - This one day course is intended to enable church congregations and local groups to gain knowledge of Faith Based economic development and social development. This course contains resources and strategies from some of the top Faith Based and community developers in the world.
