Chosen by Ebony magazine as one of the Top 30 Young Leaders in the nation. Wesley T. Bishop is a dynamic, one-of-a-kind speaker who has been blessed to share his powerful vision of faith, personal empowerment and academic excellence with audiences throughout this nation. Described by his listeners as captivating, charismatic and conscientious, he is currently working on his first book entitled Come Out Swinging: A Blueprint for Becoming your Best. In 2008, Wesley was re-elected to represent House District 101 on the Louisiana Democratic State Central Committee and currently serves as 3rd Vice Chair of the Louisiana Democratic Party. The recipient of numerous awards, he received the Outstanding Alumnus Award from Southern University at New Orleans, the Distinguished Alumnus Award from the University of Mississippi and the Leader for Life Award from Loyola University of Louisiana. He was also chosen by National Association for Equal Opportunity in Higher Education (NAFEO) for lifetime achievements honoring SUNO and was profiled by Ohio State University College of Law (www.moritzlaw.osu.edu/alumni/newsletter/2007/december/bishop.html).

Atty. Bishop holds a B.S. in Criminal Justice from Southern University at New Orleans, where he served as Student Body President. Admitted to the University of Mississippi Graduate School conditionally, he finished first in his class with a Masters in Public Administration. Additionally, he received a Juris Doctorate from Ohio State University. He has been featured in Ebony magazine, Black America Facing the Millennium, Dimensions Newsmagazine and has been the subject of numerous profiles in the New Orleans Times Picayune, New Orleans Tribune, WDSU–TV (NBC Affiliate), WWL-TV (CBS Affiliate) and many other radio and talk shows.
